Winds During the Palisades Fire

This page is a brief excerpt from the upcoming comprehensive report, Palisades Fire: The Definitive Historical Record. This material is dedicated exclusively to wind data during the fire and will be cited as: Palisades Fire: The Definitive Historical Record - Part II. During the Fire § 1. Wind. All other aspects of the fire are as detailed and are addressed in their respective sections.

The details within this section successfully refute false narratives alleging that "hurricane-force winds" occurred at the inception of the 2025 Palisades Fire. By utilizing terabytes of the government entities' own raw meteorological data and official public statements, Michael Kureth was able to directly expose municipal leadership's claims as fabrications. This section incorporates critical data from his March 2025 Palisades Fire: Weather Report and Analysis, the document formally cited within the "Factual Allegations" (Section E) of both the Master and Subrogation Complaints of the Palisades Fire litigation.

This wind and weather research cited in this section was originally compiled to confront this official disinformation and to urge survivors of the Palisades Fire to join the litigation before the expiration of the six-month statute of limitations. From his own experience, Kureth recognized that other victims were being intentionally misled by leadership to discourage them from filing timely claims. By using their own records to prove they were lying, this report serves to empower victims to take legal action and sue for accountability. Ultimately, this research was written to awaken the public to the reality that something else entirely had occurred on the ground, an anomaly that was later revealed to be an intentional and systematic cover-up. To date, no evidence has been produced to disprove the factual findings of this report.
