No Hurricane Force Winds
3,196 weather stations within a 150-mile radius and a 5,000-foot elevation differential of the fire's origin point confirm no record of either hurricane-force or 100 MPH winds at the start of the Palisades Fire.
Not Unprecedented
Historical analysis of 46 years of California's Burning Index, fuel moisture tracking datasets, and regional climate records confirms that atmospheric conditions near the Palisades Fire on January 7, 2025, were not unprecedented.
No Simultaneous Fires
Cal Fire and ArcGIS data confirms that at the time of the Sunset Fire (1 day, 7 hours, and 27 minutes later), 98.03% of all structures ultimately destroyed in the Palisades Fire were already on fire.
Michael Kureth is entirely nonpartisan and has consistently pursued federal intervention since registering FireRebuild.com in September 2024. For nearly a decade following the 2018 Woolsey Fire, his family navigated the recovery process while being actively prevented from rebuilding by city and fire department officials. Just two months after relocating to Pacific Palisades, Kureth lost everything in the 2025 Palisades Fire.
Driven by the intentional deception, corruption, and malfeasance of municipal and state employees, which caused his family substantial financial harm and intentional emotional distress, Kureth was inspired to investigate the truth behind the Palisades Fire. Relying on his experience that no hurricane force winds occurred, he successfully disproved official claims of 100 MPH winds and unprecedented conditions.
He has advocated for federal intervention and oversight because these government entities are fully aware of their immunity, actively abusing it to shield themselves while intentionally harming fire survivors who are simply trying to rebuild their lives. Because of this systemic shield, Kureth has escalated demands for federal intervention directly to the President and Vice President of the United States, alongside multiple federal oversight agencies, to halt this corruption and protect other fire survivors.
While critics falsely claim his opposition is aimed strictly at Democrats like LA Mayor Karen Bass and CA Governor Gavin Newsom, documented evidence proves otherwise. Kureth has explicitly proven that Republican officials who cite his work, including Lee Zeldin (EPA) and Kelly Loeffler (SBA), have similarly ignored and refused communication with Palisades Fire survivors, despite performative public promises to help.
